Allrighty, found myself some material from a local DIY shop.

Now I just need to calculate how much I need and how much it will cost me.

"Completed" sketch(up)!

Allright, I put all my pieces togheter with SketchUp and this is what I got:

I'm pretty happy with the result. Now I just need to find suitable material to build it in.

Chassi!

Allright, just polished some on my sketch of the "computer chassi". Its going to be the right leg on the desk aswell. Now this is without the top and you'll have to imagine it without the black lines. The left side will be 2 panels that will be removable, and 1 panel that ain't removable. The two top "panels" will be the ones to be removable for quick access to the Motherboard, PSU, HDDs and Optical drives. The thing on the top is just a placeholder for where to put the plexi or real glass (haven't decided yet).

Two panels removed to expose the Motherboard, PSU, HDDs and Optical drive. The inside will be painted black and I might pop a blue LED light in there. :)

Lets start.

Allright.. So I'll start out with introducing myself and explain what I'm going to use this blog for. So, I'm Anders, 22 year old male from Sweden. And the thing with this blog is, well, its more like a worklog for upcoming projects of mine. My first project that goes up here is I'm going to build a desk, with a computer built into it! A 'CompuDesk' if you like. :P. At the moment I only got some sketches that I made with Google SketchUp (hurrr) ...

This is just a really rough concept picture... but something like that is what I'm probably going for in the end.
